AIR T, INC. Aviation and Aerospace Minority Scholarship
Are you interested in pursuing a career in aviation?
Do you want to become a pilot, an aircraft mechanic, or air traffic controller?
We want to help you realize your dream.
AIR T INC. wants to provide up to $5000 financial assistance to a minority student interested in pursuing a career in aviation and/or aerospace who meets the following requirements:
- Located in either Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC metropolitan areas, and
- A graduating high school senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale, or
- Accepted into a Vocational Technology school and/or 2/4 Year Accredited College/University, or
- Currently enrolled student at a Vocational Technology and/or 2/4 Year Accredited College/University
Scholarship Application
Fill out the application below and provide the following documentation.
- A current transcript from your school (high school, college/university).
- An official copy of acceptance letter from an aviation and /or aerospace school or program.
- A letter of reference from one of the following: current teacher/professor, school counselor or community service or religious organization leader.
- A 500-word essay, double spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman answering the question, “Why are you applying for this scholarship and why should we choose you over other applicants?”
If your application is accepted, you may be contacted by the scholarship committee to complete an informal, virtual interview.
